WE HAVE NOW HELPED OVER 50,000 Jamaicans IN 38 COMMUNITIES!

The COVID-19 Response Fund has been donating funds and delivering packages to Jamaicans in vulnerable communities who have been struggling with the negative impact of COVID-19. With the help of our volunteers, stakeholders, and our generous donors we have been able to make donations to those who need food or COVID-19 related health relief.

As of July 3, 2020, $182 million JMD has been raised with $127.5 million in cash and $54.5 million in goods and services by donors locally and internationally to help us reach 73% of our local fundraising target. With the assistance of 1,055 volunteers, over 38,088 food relief packages were prepared and delivered to help 44,218 Jamaicans in 38 communities. In addition, some of the donations were given to 24 NGOs dedicated to helping the poor which supported 7,189 beneficiaries including people who are deaf or hard of hearing, children living in extreme poverty, persons living with a disability, and people living with HIV.

We would like to thank all 89 local donors and 797 overseas donors. We would also like to thank all of our volunteers for their 17,415 volunteer hours. These efforts would not have been made possible if it was not for your generous contributions to help us #StandForJamaica.

Thank you for all your efforts and donations to help us! #TogetherWeWill #StandForJamaica. We encourage you all to spread and share the campaign to all those who are interested! You can donate at https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/standforjamaica. Regular updates on the campaign results will be given weekly on standforjamaica.com, on our local CVM Television channel at 8 pm EST and on social media @thepsoj
